TYT is the first session of the university entrance exam and is required for all candidates. It includes 120 questions from Turkish, Mathematics, Social Sciences and Science.

AYT is the second session taken according to the candidate's chosen field. It covers Mathematics, Science, Turkish Language & Literature and Social Sciences.

YDT is the third session for candidates who want to be placed with a foreign language score. It is offered in English, German, French, Arabic and other languages.
